Vision Energy Audits does a Comprehensive Energy Analysis that goes well beyond what you may have encountered for free by a utility or by another contractor trying to sell you services they provide. We use state of the art diagnostic testing equipment to identify energy waste and potential savings. We also check all of the gas appliances for high carbon monoxide levels and also gas leaks in those same appliances and all accessible gas lines.

About the Owner
Richard Cunningham is the owner of Vision Energy Audits. He started Vision in 2016 but has been in the green energy field for over 15 years. His career in the green energy field started with PG&E and a program called “The Energy Partners Program.” It was a program for low and middle-income families that provided a free visual energy evaluation of the home. The program provided free energy upgrades to the home based on the energy evaluation results. It was designed to help lower monthly energy consumption and in turn lower energy costs for the homeowner.
In 2010 Richard started his career as a state certified H.E.R.S. Rater. H.E.R.S. stands for Home Energy Rating System. The H.E.R.S. Index is the industry standard by which a home’s energy efficiency is measured. It’s also the nationally recognized system for inspecting and calculating a home’s energy performance. Richard also went on soon after that to become BPI Certified. BPI Certified as a “Building Analyst” is proof that a home performance contractor is skilled at using building science knowledge to diagnose energy-related problems in the home. In the last 12 years, Richard has provided over 10,000 audits while working with the latest in diagnostic testing equipment in the green energy field. For over a decade Richard has been helping homeowners and their families to make their homes more efficient and more comfortable to live in.
